Jordan & Steffie

Left behind. Never abandoned. From urgent treatment to a safe indoor home, Jordan and Steffie found their second chance together.

When Jordan and Steffie were found abandoned outside Norwich, both rabbits needed help. They arrived at PACT with different medical needs, but the same need for safety and care.

Jordan’s condition required urgent action: surgery for a maggot-infested wound. Steffie needed treatment for a severe flea infestation. Getting the right care to each rabbit was the first step towards recovery.

With fast intervention and expert care, both rabbits recovered. Their story is a reminder that rescue does not end when an animal reaches the sanctuary. Treatment and rehabilitation are part of helping them move towards a better future.

For Jordan and Steffie, that future was together. Once recovered, they went on to find a safe, loving indoor home as a pair - a new beginning after being left behind.

Every animal’s journey is different. Some need urgent veterinary treatment; others need time, patient care or a home suited to their needs. At PACT, rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming are connected parts of the same commitment: giving animals a second chance.

Stories like Jordan and Steffie’s show why that work matters. Whether you donate, volunteer, foster or offer an animal a suitable permanent home, your support helps make more second chances possible.
