Willow and Walter
From urgent care to a safe home.
Willow, an abandoned Chihuahua, was found in a laundry basket in a Norwich park with Walter, her one-day-old puppy. Vets discovered that Willow needed an urgent caesarean before she and Walter could be transferred to PACT. At PACT, they received the warmth, food and attentive care they needed to recover. Willow and Walter later moved into a permanent home with a member of PACT’s cattery team. Walter was also set to train as a Henry Hallam therapy dog - turning a frightening beginning into the chance to bring comfort to other people. Their journey brings PACT’s work together in one story: an urgent response, veterinary treatment, recovery, a safe home and a future built around what the animals needed.
